PERSONAL PROFILE

FU, Changbo, executive director of China Society for Social Governance, member of the expert committee of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China, director of China Social Innovation Institute of Beijing Normal University, honorary vice president and director of Family Philanthropy and Charity Trust of China Charity Federation. His research directions include Grassroots Social Governance, Social Policies, Public Welfare and Philanthropy, Family Legacy, Business for Good, Social Innovation, Public Communication, etc. Professor Fu has worked in news media, as well as in the government - both municipal and central - for many years. Since 2015, he has been devoted to education area, supporting the development of philanthropy and social innovation and to promoting new forms of social governance that rely on cooperation and sharing.  Professor Fu spearheaded the research including "Research on the Third Distribution Function and the Healthy Development of Charity", "Research on the Path of Charity Forces Participating in Grassroots Governance" by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, "Analysis of the Current Situation and Development Trends of Chinese Private Enterprise Foundations" by the Central United Front Work Department Guangcai, and "Analysis of the Path of Charity Organizations Participating in Charity Trusts" by the China Charity Federation. He has published more than 20 articles and comments on People's Daily, Chinese Public Administration, Administration Reform, Forbes Chinese, Alliance and other newspapers, presided over the research of "China HNWIs Philanthropy Report (2024)" "The Way to Build an Organic Society" "China Family Philanthropy Report (2022)", "Family Philanthropy Guide" and offered courses such as "Common Prosperity and Family Legacy" "Theory of Social Innovation".
