Personal Profile

Dr. Zhiyong QU is currently the dean of the School of Sociology of Beijing Normal University and the director of the Behavioral Health Research Center. He is also a member of the National Advisory Committee on Student Mental Health of the Ministry of Education and a member of the Expert Committee of the National Medium and Long-term Youth Development Plan (2016-2025). At present, the main research topics include randomized controlled trials of TF-CBT intervention in children's post-traumatic stress disorder by social workers, modular intervention trials of common psychological problems in children and adolescents, intervention trials of sports and health development in children and adolescents, etc; Undertake the guidance of master's and doctoral students in social work, health sociology and social medicine, child development and education.
